Commercial Cleaning/Janitorial Services

Guidelines For Service:

General Cleaning

  • Tops of desks, equipment, and furniture will be dusted.
  • Low dusting of chair rails and legs, desk and table legs, baseboards, ledges, vents, etc.
  • High dusting of ledges, picture frames, door frames, vents, etc.
  • Vertical dusting of sides of desks, cabinets, furniture, etc.
  • Ashtrays will be emptied, damp wiped and dried each service.
  • Telephones will be dusted.
  • Window sills will be dusted weekly.
  • Mini-blinds will be dusted as needed.
  • Upholstered furniture will be vacuumed.
  • Vinyl furniture will be damp wiped and dried.
  • Water fountains will be cleaned, polished, and sanitized each service.
  • Finger marks, smudges will be removed from partitions, desks, doors, light switches and woodwork.
  • Carpets will be vacuumed each service in all open areas, edges, corners and traffic ways.
  • All carpeting will be thoroughly vacuumed including knee holes of desks, behind doors, under and behind movable furniture and equipment.
  • Small spots will be removed (excessive spot removal excepted).
  • Tile floors will be thoroughly swept with a treated dust mop and spot mopped each service.
  • Floors will be damp mopped.
  • Mats and runners will be cleaned each service and thoroughly vacuumed or damp mopped weekly.
  • Plastic chair mats will be spot cleaned weekly.
  • Glass partitions will be spot cleaned.
  • Marks and smudges on walls will be removed as long as their removal does not spoil the general appearance of the walls.
  • Trash containers will be emptied each service and trash taken to designated area.
  • Plastic liners from your stock will be installed as needed.
  • Trash containers will be cleaned when needed. Cob webs will be removed from window frames and corners as needed

Restrooms

  • Toilet bowls, toilet seats, urinals and sinks will be cleaned and sanitized each service.
  • Bright metal will be polished each service.
  • Trash containers will be emptied each service and trash taken to designated area.
  • Exterior of containers will be spot cleaned each service.
  • Plastic liners will be installed from your stock.
  • Glass mirrors will be cleaned and polished each service and supplies installed from your stock.
  • Splash marks will be removed from walls around sinks and dispensers each service.
  • Partition walls and doors will be spot cleaned each service, wiped down and sanitized monthly.
  • Dispensers will be cleaned and polished each service and supplies installed from your stock.
  • Floors will be swept, damp mopped and sanitized each service.

Kitchens and Breakrooms

  • Tables and counter tops will be damp wiped each service.
  • Chairs will be spot cleaned each service.
  • Cabinet exteriors will be spot cleaned each service and thoroughly cleaned weekly.
  • Cabinet interiors will be cleaned as needed.
  • Vending machines will be spot cleaned each service and damp wiped.
  • Trash containers will be emptied each service and trash taken to designated area.
  • Exterior of containers will be spot cleaned each service. Plastic liners will be installed from your stock.
  • Floors will be vacuumed or swept and damp mopped each service.
  • Microwave ovens will be damp wiped and cleaned inside and out each service.
  • Refrigerator exterior will be cleaned with each service.
  • Interior will be cleaned as needed.

Entrance and Reception Areas

  • Entrance glass doors and receptionist's partitions will be cleaned each service on both sides to remove fingerprints and smudges.
  • Furniture, reception desk and table tops will be polished or damp wiped each service.
